The RDU Rent Party is a pay-what-you-can swing dance held approximately once a month in the NC Triangle area, organized by myself and Laura Windley. Laura scours the area for great bands and deejays to come and play for the swing dancers in the Triangle. I sponsor the event, paying for rental on the space and Laura often provides refreshments. To show our appreciation for the awesome musicians who make the music we dance to, all donations collected at the dance are given to the musicians themselves.
